Get excellent condition ammo cans without paying full retail price! Quantity six, high quality, made in USA, mil-spec, steel ammo cans packaged in a cardboard box and shipped UPS ground. These are not beat-up or spray painted government auction ammo cans. Like the rest of our ammo cans, these cans have been sorted and inspected to ensure they meet our strict quality standards.
Most of the ammo cans are labeled for 840rds of 5.56mm ammunition in either yellow stencil font, or digital white lettering. Depending on the specific production lot, some of the ammo cans may not have any labeling on the exterior or may have a white sticker. Due to the surplus nature of this product,
minor surface scuffs from handling and light surface rust from long-term storage are possible.
Ammo cans are a great foundation for a wide variety of do-it-yourself home projects, are a cost-effective waterproof storage solution, and are ideal for transporting ammo to the shooting range. Quick shipping of well packed, exactly as-advertised product at a good price. I usually check Midway, whose prices for cans of the consistent very high quality of these are normally a bit higher, when they are in stock. There might be cheaper competitors (haven't found any), but it just isn't worth my time to look, given the consistently high quality product I have come to expect from Clean Ammo Cans. You can get cheaper bulkier plastic cans that stack, but these military-grade metal ones pack tighter, and I just have a nostalgic preference for the old metal ones I was used to on active duty.

Read the other reviews did not see anyone mention the strong toxic odor coming from the "clean cans". Not sure what they were cleaned with but I had to sit them outside for at least two days to get most of the chemical odor off as they were stinking up the house. Finally just put my ammo in them and put them in my ammo safe to cut down on the foul odor.
