Quantity Two - Grade 2 Made in USA, PA108 "Fat 50" SAW Steel Ammo Cans
Take advantage of the reduced price on these Grade 2, US Military surplus, "Fat 50" PA108 spec ammo cans! In this case, these ammo cans are rated Grade 2 mostly due to the presence of light to moderate spray paint on the cans, but expect some to have
light dings, small dents, and or light rust also. The cans are still 100% functional with good seals, but are one step down in overall quality from Grade 1 due to some minor surface conditions, but mostly for spray paint and some minor dings or dents. On the "Good, Better, Best" rating system, Grade 2 ammo cans are considered "Better."
The PA-108 size metal ammo cans are affectionately
referred
to as the "Fat 50" since they are a couple inches wider and a little taller than a traditional M2A1 "50 cal" size ammo can. The slightly larger size of the Fat 50 ammo can makes them more versatile as a waterproof storage solution than the smaller ammo can variants, and highly sought after. Exterior
appearance will vary. The cans are used and in good condition, but will have handling wear, slight surface rust, and/or minor spray painted exteriors.
Grade 2 Ammo Cans are not
cleaned like their Grade 1 counterparts. Expect some dirt and debris from field use.

The fat 50 ammo cans will hold six one pound cans of IMR, Winchester or Hodgdon powders where the regular 50 caliber can will only hold 3 pounds and only takes up a little more space

Fantastic deal for the money! The pair of Grade 2 cans I received were in much better condition than supposed Grade 1 cans that a lot of other online retailers sell. I would've just gotten Grade 3 had I known they would look so much better than what I was expecting. These bigger Fat 50's will come in plenty handy for lugging camping supplies, ammo, storage, etc. And they'll look even better after a sand & paint. Plus, they'll last damn near forever. THANK YOU!
