USA Made,
military surplus, 50 cal size, steel, M2A1 ammo cans.
Grade 3 ammo cans are likely to have one or more of the following conditions: spray paint, rust, and dings/dents. The majority of the cans are straight and in good condition without rust, but have been spray painted to cover the original ammunition labeling or have been repurposed and stenciled with an alternate label by the original military unit. Grade 3 is our "catchall" category for ammo cans that
still seal and function
but have a surface deficiency of some type. Grade 3 ammo cans are perfect for those that plan to repaint their cans anyway or want to save a few bucks and don't care about the appearance of their cans. Grade 3 ammo cans are not cleaned to the standards of our Grade 1 ammo cans.
The inside of each ammo box will have a tight, waterproof rubber seal but may contain debris. Each six pack of ammo cans is shipped in a cardboard box via UPS Ground.

Save Time, Buy Grade One
Same as my grade three .30 can review. Seals good, no major dents, latches fine. I "customized" mine with green and khaki paint to cover the stenciling. Interior on three out of six cans needed rust removal, priming, and final painting. Spend a little more and buy grade one unless you have time to kill. You get what you pay for. Rusted is still better than non-waterproof plastic cans! Okay value.

Cans arrived very quickly and in much better condition than the online description stated. The internal rubber gasket was in great shape and provided a good seal. One quick coat of paint and they look good as new. I highly recommend these cans. I will be purchasing more when needed.

Well Done!
Overall, very pleased with the six pack of 50cal Grade 3 ammo cans I received from Clean Ammo Cans. I spent just a few minutes to clean them up a bit, lubed the hinges and rubber gaskets, and made a few minor adjustments so they open/close to my liking. Perfect. They are in very good condition, I like the old markings and varied paint colors, and the overall price including shipping was reasonable. I will be ordering more.

Don’t be scared of grade 3
this is my 4th or 5th time buying from this company. that should say a lot. Initially i was worried about the condition of the grade 3 cans, but after ordering them, i can say that the INTEGRITY and FUNCTION of the grade 3 cans are 100%.

Great Value
The cans were received very quickly and in better than expected condition. Will definitely order again. Only reason it is not a a 5 star is because one can showed up with moisture in it. I let it dry out and haven't had an issue with moisture inside it again that I can tell so far.
